LOTS of news!

Where do we begin? Well, first, our biggest news is that our family has grown! We welcomed our newest little angel on Aug. 7th, 2009. Chelsea was two weeks early and is now 4 weeks old! As many of our closest friends and some family know, we are slowly adjusting to our VERY busy lives. Everyone is doing well.

Riley has done A LOT of growing this summer. She has learned how to ride her bike w/ o training wheels, she has learned how to dive AND do a BACK FLIP off the diving board, she has been ice skating and roller skating, she has helped tremendously with her sisters, she went camping twice w/ her daddy, and she has become great at riding on her scooter. She has done so many new things that it is hard to keep track. This summer has definitely been a summer of change for our oldest.

Addie has really enjoyed becoming a big sister this summer. She helped endlessly with the preparation of the baby's room, shopping for baby items, folding baby clothes, and pulling out and washing baby toys. She also spent a great deal of time playing with her very good friend, Evie. Addie enjoyed riding on her Dora bike and her sister's "big girl scooter". She is a Mommy's girl. She made her Mommy feel very important all summer by "helping out the beach ball". Addie seemed to like going to the pool the best...aside from playing at home. If only she would spread her wings and allow others to see what a sweetheart she is.

Riley began her FIRST day of FIRST GRADE today! She was so proud. We woke her up early enough to have breakfast with daddy. She was adorable waiting with the big kids for the "early bus". When the bus finally came, she didn't hesitate or look back to say goodbye. She knew that she is now in a different league from her little sisters. She's the BIG KID!!!

Addie with be starting preschool tomorrow. Although she will not talk about it, she has smiled a few time when I referred to the fun that she will have.
